In this varied role, you’ll help ensure our organisation remains aligned with both local priorities and national policy developments. You will also help us deliver our ambitious Council Plan and make sure we effectively engage with our communities on key issues.
You will provide specialist corporate support across policy, strategy, and consultation, supporting colleagues to deliver high quality work while also assisting the organisation to deliver on behalf of our resident and businesses.

You will need
- A qualification in your area of expertise, equivalent to a degree or relevant experience of five years in policy, strategy or performance management
- Experience of working flexibly as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to resolve complex issues by negotiation
- Deliver commitments and take ownership of own caseload, reshaping of plans to deliver required outcomes
- Ability to process and analyse data then interpret it for others
